Terms and conditions of sale

1.1 For any information, we invite you to contact us by email via the form.

SUBJECT

2.1 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the terms and conditions applicable to the online booking and reception desk available at the reception of our hotel.

2.2 The Terms and Conditions do not govern the offering, booking or ordering of Services provided by other websites and/or mobile applications. We recommend that, before confirming any order for Services through third party websites or mobile applications, you check their terms and conditions of sale, as our hotel cannot be held responsible for the provision of Services offered by third parties.

RESERVATION

3.1 We offer an online hotel reservation process via the secure reservation system "Reservit". This can be accessed from the website www.la-petite-auberge-bourg-saint-maurice.fr and the "Book" tab.

3.2 The site may occasionally offer commercial offers that are only available on our website www.la-petite-auberge-bourg-saint-maurice.fr .

3.3 The Customer selects the Services offered on the website, he/she is solely responsible for the choice of the Services and their suitability to his/her needs, we cannot be held liable in this respect.

3.4 The booking is deemed to be accepted by the Client on completion of the booking process.

3.5 The Client attests to the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided when booking Services. Our team reserves the right to refuse any reservation made by a person who makes fraudulent use of the site or who does not respect the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

CONFIRMATION OF THE RESERVATION

4.1 The site acknowledges receipt of the reservation made by the Client by sending an e-mail containing (i) the corresponding reservation number, (ii) a summary of the reservation and in particular the Services reserved, the price of the Services, the conditions of sale applicable to the selected tariff, accepted by the Client, (iii) the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, if applicable, information relating to after-sales service as well as the contact address to which complaints can be submitted.

4.2 The reservation shall be deemed to be firm and final upon receipt of this reservation confirmation e-mail sent by our hotel to the Client.

4.3 The duration of the contract between the Customer and the Hotel is the duration of the Accommodation Service provided in the reservation.

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF A RESERVATION BY THE CLIENT

5.1 Pursuant to Article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, the Services offered on the Website do not allow the exercise of the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles L.121-21 et seq. of the French Consumer Code in respect of distance selling contracts.

5.2 The conditions of sale of the booked fare specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or changing the booking.

5.3 Reservations with prepayment cannot be modified and/or cancelled. The sums paid in advance constitute a deposit and may not be reimbursed. This will be indicated in the conditions of sale of the tariff brought to the attention of the Client and accepted by him.

5.4 Some commercial offers on the Website include special conditions for cancelling and modifying the reservation. These are detailed in the special conditions included in the description of the offer.

5.5 Unless otherwise specified, cancellation or modification of a reservation is only possible free of charge within a minimum of 24 hours before the planned date of arrival, after which the first night's stay is due.

5.6 In order to change a booking on the Site, the booking made must be cancelled in accordance with the above conditions and a new booking must be made.

NO-SHOW AND INTERRUPTION OF STAY

6.1 All bookings are subject to an arrival time of between 17:00 and 22:00 and a departure time of no later than 11:00. The Client must arrive at the hotel before 10 p.m. or notify the hotel in the event of a late arrival.

6.2 In the event that the booked room is vacated after the required check-out time (11.00 a.m.), the Customer will be charged an additional night's stay as a penalty.

6.3 Any interruption of the stay before the departure date specified in the booking will result in the payment of the full amount of the booking.

PRICE OF SERVICES

7.1 The price of the services is indicated on our website before the reservation on the description sheet of the offer, as well as during the reservation.

7.2 The rates indicated are per room, for the number of persons indicated, according to the period selected.

7.3 The price of each Service is indicated inclusive of all taxes, excluding tourist tax, and details the amount of VAT applicable to the Service.

7.4 The Euro is the commercial currency of the booking and payment must be made in this currency.

7.5 The prices mentioned on the website are subject to change at any time, without prior notice. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is binding.

PAYMENT OF THE PRICE

8.1 Unless otherwise specified, payment of the price of the Services shall be made at the Hotel at the end of the stay. In the event of prepayment, the sums paid constitute a deposit and may not be reimbursed to the Client.

8.2 In the event of a no-show or late cancellation resulting in a penalty night, the Customer's bank details provided at the time of booking will be used to pay the relevant penalties.

HOTEL STAY

9.1 Our hotel accepts pets as long as they are kept on a leash or in a cage in the common areas of the hotel. For more information on these conditions, the Client is advised to contact us directly. During the entire stay, the animal remains under the full responsibility of the Client. - –

9.2 During the stay, the Customer undertakes to use the room rented to him/her in a reasonable manner and with due care. The Hotel may ask the Client to leave the Hotel without any compensation being paid and to pay the full amount of the Service booked, in particular in the event of :
Behaviour contrary to public morality or order, any damage, deterioration or act of vandalism caused by the Client or its employees or persons for whom it is responsible, during the occupation of the premises, to any movable or immovable property, furnishings, decorations or any other type of property present in the Hotel, or significant deterioration caused by the Client's animal(s) in the room.

9.3 The hotel provides the Client with wifi internet access.
The Client undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available are not used for fraudulent or illegal purposes, and in particular to commit any act of infringement of third-party rights and/or illegal downloading of works protected by copyright or related rights, as sanctioned by Article L.335-2 of the Intellectual Property Code.

DISPLACEMENT - FORCE MAJEURE

10.1 In the event that the room reserved in our Hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to arrange for the Customer to be accommodated in whole or in part in a Hotel of equivalent or higher category and offering the same type of Services. The transfer will be entirely at our expense, with no additional costs being charged to the Customer by the Hotel.

10.2 The Hotel shall be relieved of all liability for the non-fulfilment of its obligations in the event of force majeure events for the duration of the force majeure event and undertakes to make all reasonable efforts to limit the effects thereof.

10.3 For the purposes of this Article, force majeure shall be understood to mean any event or fact that the parties could not reasonably foresee and control at the time of booking due to its external, unforeseeable and irresistible nature. In addition to the events considered by the French courts, the following are considered to be cases of force majeure: total or partial strikes, whether internal or external to the Hotel, terrorism, wars or uprisings, bad weather, epidemics, blockage of means of transport or supply for any reason whatsoever, earthquakes, fire, storms, floods, water damage, breakdown of the computer system paralysing the normal pursuit of its activity by one of the Parties.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

11.1 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale are modified regularly, in particular in consideration of normative changes. The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall apply on the date of their publication on the websites.
